To support Chinese corporates and investors venturing onto Thailand and the regional markets, DRKI has established the China Desk, led by Tax Partner Mr. Phongnarin Ratanarangsikul, together with our Director Ms. YanJia Zhang (Jessie). Mr. Phongnarin is a distinguished graduate of Thammasat University having earned a Bachelor Degree in Economics in 1984 and a Master Degree in Economics in 1989. His thesis on “Thailand and the United States Generalized System of Preference (GSP)” won Best Thesis Awards from Thammasat University and from the Social Science Association of Thailand in 1989.

Mr. Phongnarin has 23 years of experience in the transfer pricing field. He started his transfer pricing career in 2000 with one of the Big Four Audit firm in Thailand. He has considerable experience across an extensive range of industries, including agribusiness, automotive, chemical, commerce, construction materials, energy, food & beverage, home & office products, information & communication technology, machinery & tools, pharmaceutical & medical products, semiconductor & electronics as well as transportation & logistics.

Mrs. Opor is a distinguished graduate of Thammasat University Faculty of Law (LL.B.).

Mrs. Opor has been practicing law for more than 25 years. Her vast experience and comprehensive range of corporate and commercial legal services and the other legal issues relevant to doing business in Thailand include the incorporation and restructuring of companies as well as the dissolution of a variety of legal entities in Thailand. Ms. Yan Jia obtained her Bachelor's degree in Financial Management in 2011 and her Master's degree in Financial Business Administration in 2018. She is currently a Ph.D. candidate at Assumption University in Thailand.

Having worked in Thailand for 8 years, she has accumulated extensive professional experience and numerous practical cases in the fields of law and taxation. Her professional services cover several popular industries: new Energy vehicles, machinery manufacturing, engineering construction, logistics, and e-commerce. She has deeply and comprehensively participated in a well-known automobile brand‘s new Energy vehicle project in Thailand, providing one-stop legal and tax assistance and services from preliminary enterprise research to project implementation. Additionally, she has provided legal framework construction and subsequent compliance services for several auto parts companies from Zhejiang province expanding in Thailand, earning the trust from entrepreneurs during the process. She currently serves as the Deputy Director of the Bangkok Office of the Yangtze River Delta New EV Alliance, responsible for the local implementation and execution of alliance enterprises in Thailand.
